Ball room

The magnificent rococo staircase leads to the first floor where a small reception room opens into the Hall of the Caesars, the ballroom of the Palazzo.
In this great hall the visitor’s eyes are captured by a huge chandelier hanging from the centre of the ceiling.
The walls are decorated with a series of medallions with classic profiles and gold details and decorations; a marble fireplace, dominated by a large mirror, the large windows and the small balcony overlooking the amazing garden, silent and dormant in winter, joyful and lively in the warmer months, add a domestic atmosphere.
The neoclassical style of the decor confers a sought after understated elegance. In this magnificent setting where nowadays auctions are held, the Milanese nobility used to dance to a minuet or a waltz.
