An important auction will be held featuring Military memorabilia, consisting of military mementos from the end of the eighteen hundreds to the second half of the XX century, in addition to numerous documents and letters signed by renowned personages.
The majority of the lots originate from the collection of a Milanese journalist who was also a war correspondent and who amassed the items in question over the decades. Also interesting for their historical value are some objects included in the legacy of General Freri.
Among the most curious items are a great number of helmets from the first and second world wars, issued to troops of various nations, as well as caps, cockades, berets and military gear of various kinds. Also of interest is a collection of pistol holsters from the same period, as well as ribbons, medals of valor and, in particular, a series of German specialist pins and badges from WW II. There are also models of tanks and planes, toy soldiers of various epochs and tin military models; the auction will be completed by a great collection of documents and letters signed by historical figures, propaganda posters, military calendars and many lithographs of historical subjects, mostly dating from the XIX century.
