A good and richely illustrated 17th century edition of the renown 16th-century gastronomic work first published in Venice in 1570. 3 parts in one volume, 4to (200 x 147mm). Large illustrated vignettes on titles, numerous woodcuts, some full-page and one double-page, with final blank in part 2 (lacking portrait as in other copies examined, here substitute with a blank leaf, Z8 repaired at bottom corner, some leaves browned and some other small repairs mainly in the margins, lightly cropped, without final blank in part 3). Later binding, manuscript title on spine.
