Second French edition of the Description and first French edition of the Recueil and the Voyage. 3 works in 4 volumes, 4to (260 x 207mm). First work with half-title, engraved vignette on title, large folding unnumbered plate, folding table and 24 plates by Noach van der Meer, Carl Jacob de Huyser e Caspar Jacobsz Philips of which 5 folding (without blanks and D3, small tear to a plate). Second work with woodcut headpieces. Third work in 2 vols with half-titles, engraved vignettes on titles, large folding plan at end and 122 (of 124) engraved plates of which at least 36 folding (plate IV of first vol. with small tear without loss and without plates 25 and 26; in general occasional light spotting). Contemporary calf, gilt arms of the Society of Writers to the Signet, red edges (rebacked). Provenance: Sig.
