Ricordi, [1842]. First edition, in the version for piano solo, of Verdi's famous "Nabucco". It is the third lyric work by the composer and it was represented for the first time in Milan at La Scala on March 9, 1842 with an enormous success. Oblong folio (255 x 334mm). Title printed in red and black, engraved scores (waterstaining to upper margin without touching text, some spotting). Contemporary percalline binding with gilt title on board (some wear). Provenance: "Hom Heim" stamp to titlepage.
