The work illustrates many of the main cities such as New York, Boston, Santiago, Lima and views of the main island in Central America. 3 volumes, (317 x 248mm). Vol. I with half-title, engraved frontispiece showing the encounter of Columbus with the natives, engraved vignettes on titles, 77 engraved plates and maps of which 25 folding, engraved and woodcut tailpieces (some spotting mainly in the margins of the text, vol.III with some waterstaining).
