[VERDI] - STREPPONI, Giuseppina (1815-1897) - Lotto di due lettere autografe. Two letters written by Strepponi, singer and wife of Verdi. The first is a small celebration of Genoa and Liguria, written probably after her performance in Giovanni Pacini's Sappho the 18 January 1842. The second is a letter addressed to the famous singer Romilda Pantaleoni (1847-1917) of 28 September 1888 in which she invites her to stay at Verdi's Estate in Sant'Agata. (235 x 180mm).
