A large collection of 120 plates from Coronelli's renown work including the spectacular bird's eye view of Venice. 2 volumes, folio (480 x 338mm). Sold as a collection of maps it comprises in vol. I: allegorical engraved additional title, title, dedication and plates; vol. II: author's portrait, Ristretto di molte imprese del Francesco Morosini, Dimostrazione scenografica et ortografica, Dichiarazione detti numeri posti nella Pianta della città di Candia. 120 magnificent engraved plates, mainly double-page, some illustrating 9 smaller plates and including the bird's eye view of Venice (a little cropped at top and bottom margin) and the large folding plate with the "idea dell'Universo" (reinforced - generally some staining and soiling, some maps restored or reinforced, some tears repaired).
