The work began in 1820 but continued at least until the inauguration of the Arco della Pace in 1838 which appears in one of the plates. Other copies contain only 72 plates but here all 78 are present. 8vo (172 x 235mm). Engraved title with an imaginary view of the most renown monuments in Milan, 71 numbered plates and 7 plates continuing the numeration but preserved loose in an envelope at the end, all plates engraved by Durau after drawings of Santi, Toselli and Reondino (some spotting, mainly in the margins). Contemporary green half vellum, original title applied on front cover (some rubbing).
