A nice lot devoted to the "Badia di Fachin" a Milanese goliardic group active from the beginning of XVI to the end of XVIII century. The official language used for poems and jokes used during carnivals and celebrations was the dialect of the Blevio and d'Intragna valleys (Cherubini, vocabolario Milanese-Italiano). The lot includes a nice engraving depicting the carnival parade of 1764 and 6 sonets on loose leaves. Incisione (400 x 570mm). Engraving and 6 printed sheets, different measurements (light wears).
