Portrait, frontispieces, 22 plates in each volume for a total of 115 plates engraved by Gravelot, Boucher, Cochin and Eisen, engraved by Aliamet, Baquoy, Flipart, Legrand, Lemire, Lempereur, numerous head and tail pieces (some browning and spotting). Contemporary calf, triple gilt fillet border, gilt spine and inlays, marbled endpapers (hinges and spine ends a bit worn, extremities rubbed). Provenance: Robert Nossam (bookplate). (5)
