Engraved frontispiece by Johann Dürr from Christian Richter to the Old Testament and engraved by Troschel from Richter at the beginning of the New, title in red and black with woodcut vignette, full-page portrait by Jacob Sandrart, text in woodcut border, numerous full-page illustrations, plates with portraits and some fine double-page maps (restorations at the edges of the frontispiece, on title and to the last two leaves). Contemporary calf on wooden boards, gilt and decorated edges (rebacked preserving part of the original spine, somewhat worn). Because it wasn't possible to find an accurate collation the lot is sold not subject to return.
