Title with printer's device representing the personification of the Law, woodcut initials (lacking i2-i6, title repaired at lower corner, some slight browning and foxing, leaves 2d1-2d2 with some loss). Contemporary blindstamped calf dated 1580 with I. D. N. monogram and portrait of man in elegant clothes with sword within border on front cover and second portrait on the back (modern guards, joints reinforced, small woodholes); preserved in an elegant box.
