Folio (328 x 208mm). Title within woodcut border with fine printer's device with work scene in typography, woodcut initials and headpieces (without final blank, wormholes mainly in the margins, some staining and light spotting, rare marginal tears, aa2 with author's name removed and c4v with final paragraph title deleted). Later vellum, traces of holes for the clasps, spine label (some stainings and rubbing, lightly crushed in the lower part of the hinge, panels lightly bowed, modern endpapers). Provenance: ancient annotations in the text and ownership note at title, barely visible.
