Folio (455 x 295mm). Half-title, title in architectural frame, frontispiece printed in red and black, engraved vignette on frontispiece and on dedication leaf (✝), woodcut initials (recently coloured in red), 60 engravings representing mythological scenes in a frame, all captioned in French, English, German and Dutch (browning at the text leaves, spotting, stains, tear on L1-L2, folding in the half-title and title). Restored calf preserving the likely contemporary boards and the likely posthumous spine (some defects). Provenance: on the front endpaper there are 2 labels with ancient library collocation and 3 different ex-libris: an unidentified one, one from Carten Library, and an other "Ex Libris de Paulo B. Ferreira".
