[RADETZKY - MANOSCRITTO DI SELLERIA] - Beschreibung eines deutschen und ungarischen sattels. Vienna: Settembre 1807.   Interesting saddlery manuscript from Marshal Radetzky's library, written in the period (from 1805 to 1809) when he was in Vienna engaged in the study and editing of his military memories "Denkschriften" (Allgemeine Deutsche Biographie). It is therefore probable that the present manuscript, having as its subject the production and characteristics of the German and Hungarian saddles, is part of those memoirs or has served as a reference.   4to (180 x 214mm). 23 text leaves; 29 plates of watercolored drawings divided into three parts: first part with 12 (in plates 1-4 and 9-10 only the cut-out figures are present); second part with 11 (plate 2 with the lower margin cut out); third part with 6 (slightly browned text), watercolored and fresh drawings, of 7plates only thre cut-out figures are present or just fragments. Contemporary half calf with gilt title on spine lable, marbled plates (slight defects). Provenance: Graf Radetzky (bookplate).
