Woodcut title within architectural border incorporating the author's portrait and the printer's device repeated at end, each canto with a full-page woodcut illustration, a large vignette and an historiated initial (tiny neat repairs at title margin, lightly washed, some occasional browning). Modern vellum, earlier spine label within gilt border, preserved in a marbled paper case. Provenance: some early annotations.
