The notes, written in Latin and French, are mainly comments to the text but there are also some quotations and even jokes written by different hands that sign in various ways. The work had probably been used by one or more French students in his university studies.   5 works in one volume, 4to (220 x 170mm). Printer's device on title and colophon (first work lacking title, second work without A8 and other cards, probably index, but it was not possible to find a collation, final work without paper c1, several stains, some leaves detached). Contemporary vellum (worn). Provenance: several contemporary ownership inscriptions through the text: Jehan De Chaudesaigues; Pierre Fornide; De Solilhac; Joannes Fornerius; Petrus Moderatus Calidanus; Bibliotheca Calidana; Ex libris: Mathieu Varille Lyonnois (modern).
