Paris: Michel Vascosan, 1550.   An early annotated copy of this commentary by Aristotle difficult to find on the market.   Folio (316 x 202mm). In Greek and Latin, woodcut initials (a little browned and with some dampstaining, a few small repairs). 19th-century marbled boards backed in green cloth decorated in gilt and blind (extremities lightly rubbed ). Provenance: some early (cropped) annotations - Bibliothecae & Conventus S. Himerij (stamp on title of the lost Library of the first convent of the Reformed Carmelites, probably in Cremona; suppressed in the Napoleonic era in 1805).
