The basis for the text and the woodcuts was Host von Romberch's Congestorium artificiose memorie printed in 1520 with blocks designed by Giorgio de' Rusconi.   8vo (144 x 99mm). Printer's device on title, several full-page or large-format woodcut illustrations and initials (some small stains, final leaf with repair touching a letter, tiny wormhole to final leaves). 18th-century calf decorated in blind (expertly rebacked, new endpapers). Provenance: early erased ownership inscription on title.
