[ERASMO] - SENECA, L. Aennaeus (4 a.C.-65 d.C.) - Lucubrationes omnes, additis etiam nonnullis. Basel: Froben, 1515. Internally a good copy of the first edition of the opera omnia of Seneca commented by Erasmus by Rotterdam who later reused it the 1529 edition. Folio (280 x 200mm). Title within an elaborate woodcut border by Urs Graf, woodcut border on verso of title and on the dedication, engraved woodcut initials, woodcut border on leaf 2e5, opening the "de morte Claudii Caesaris", printer's device at colophon (some sporadic stains and spotting). 16th-century (?) leather with gilt title and decorations on spine, speckled edges (restoration to the top edge of spine). Provenance: Laurent [ius] Missellis Med [icu] s et Philos [ophu] s Possidet (ownership inscription on title).
