Venice: Simon Bevilaqua per Marco Firmiano, 1499.   A copy on fine paper and with good margins of the Comedies of Plautus published in Venice in 1499 by Bevilaqua.   Folio (294 x 215mm). Printer's device with double cross circle and printer's name on colophon (occasional light dampstaining and soiling, y2 with small tears in the outer margin, black ink spots? in the inner margin of a few cards around E1). 17th-century (?) leather with the initials H.G. on the covers, later spine labels, red edges (extremities rather damaged, spines and corners chipped). Provenance: some ancient underlining in red - Carlo Bernardi? (ancient ownership inscription on title ) - Delvecchio (bookplate).
