ARISTOTELE (ca. 384 a.C. - 322 a.C.) - De moribus, quæ Ethica nominantur, libri decem. Paris: Johannes de Bordeaux, 1579.   An interesting copy annotated by contemporary hands with inscriptions, erotic drawings and games (see p. 93-96).   4to (223 x 174mm). Printer's device on title, woodcut initials and headpieces (first and final pages frayed at outer edges, dampstaining, tear to outer margin of N5). Part of the antique covers preserved and applied on later leather binding with gilt decorated spine, large gold decoration at center of covers (new endpapers, some wear). Provenance: Debellists? (contemporary ownership inscription on title) - Prenner (contemporary annotations and ownership inscription on page 98) - other contemporary annotations by a different hand.
