[CURIOSITA' EDITORIALE] - SEGNI, Bernardo (1504-1558) - Storie fiorentine di messer Bernardo Segni, gentiluomo fiorentino, dall’anno 1527 al 1555. Augusta: Mertz, Majer, 1723.   A very interesting testimony of the erudite publishing of the 18th-century; the present copy is important from an editorial point of view because it was used as a reference for the re-edition of the work printed in Palermo by Rapetti in 1778. In fact, the editorial changes foreseen in the new edition are reported in pen in the margins: the renewed title, the addition of the new headpieces, the [few] corrections of the text and the adjustment of the references of the index. The half-title contains the signatures of the likely collaborators: De Blagio, Calvo, Airoldi and Galletti (?).   Folio (325 x 200mm). Engraved portrait of the author, title in red and black (severe dampstaining). Contemporary boards (worn and stained).
