Text within red ink border, woodcut initials (title lightly worn with some small wormholes and tears without text loss, first 250 pages with a tiny wormhole in the center, a few other wormholes). Contemporary brown calf, panelled spine with blindstamp decorations, blindstamped decoration at center of covers within a double fillet border, edges decorated in blind and gilt (lightly worn). No copy is recorded as having been offered at auction in the past 100 years (RBH). Provenance: early inscriptions at beginning and end.
