Rare first edition (with only one copy rcorded at auction, RBH) which describes in detail the terrible infection that shocked the city in 1576. The text describes the measures taken by the authorities such as the prohibition of public dances, the quarantine places arranged near the city gates, checks on provisions and drinks introduced in Milan and much more. This copy is enriched by the possession notes of a chaplain of the major cemetery of Milan who commented on the work more than three centuries later.
