Engraved frontispiece in vol. 1, titles in red and black with printer's device repeated in black at the end, full-page illustrations (wormholes throughout also in text, occasional dampstaining and browning, title of the third volume lightly detached, final leaves in vol. 4 with a hole that causes some loss of text, vol. 3 without final blank, final leaf of vol. 4 repaired and reinforced on the verso, final volume without 4pp. of "Additiones novae" signed as χ²).
