[DE L'ISLE] - Il Salterio di Robert de Lisle. Bologna: Scripta Manent, 2008.   The manuscript, currently kept in the British Library, is a masterpiece of the English Gothic style. Originally owned by the English baron Robert de Lisle (1288-1344), the psalter has refined miniatures, characterized by bright colours, elaborate frames and ornaments. The codex is influenced by Islamic culture, at the time extended from Spain to England through Eleanor of Castile, wife of Edward I.   (345x230mm). Copy no. 107 of 450.
