On 2 December, at Il Ponte Casa d’Aste, the Collectible Watches auction enriches the winter sale season with further treasures to wear: authentic expressions of style, artistry and ingenuity.

The auction features a curated selection of one hundred timepieces, including numerous rarities and previously unseen examples.

Among the top lots stands the Patek Philippe Nautilus Ref. 5712/1 (lot 1102, €60,000–80,000), one of the world’s most iconic luxury sports watches, designed by Gérald Genta and launched in 1976. It was the first luxury steel watch to be accepted into haute horlogerie, distinguished by its bevelled case and porthole-shaped bezel with lateral hinges.

For collectors seeking something truly special, the catalogue offers a rare trio of Patek Philippe Calatrava models – a line that has become a symbol of minimalist elegance, conceived according to the Bauhaus principle “form follows function”. The Ref. 5107J-001 (lot 110, €10,000–15,000) in yellow gold stands out for its 37 mm case, sculpted lugs and screw-down crown with protective shoulders, offering a perfect balance between classic refinement and modern style. The Ref. 3591 (lot 1100, €4,000–8,000) from the 1970s bears the double signature Patek Philippe and Hausmann & Co., a detail attesting to its historical provenance, with a yellow gold case and blue dial that highlight its sophistication. Finally, the Ref. 1513 (lot 1099, €2,800–4,600) from the 1940s pairs a rose gold case with a matching salmon-toned dial, presenting itself as a unique piece for those in search of more refined vintage elegance.
