Excellent copy of the first edition of this work printed in the Bodoni Workshop and dedicated by Bodoni to Emanuello de Rohan, whose family crest is present on the title pages, and in which the author's name Paolo Maria Paciaudi is present, remembered as regio librarian of Parma. 3 volumes, 4to (279 x 210mm). Half-titles, title engraved with the arms of the dedicatee of the work de Rohan, two topographical maps, one of Jerusalem and one of San Giovanni, and a folding map of the order's expeditions to the Middle East engraved by Domenico Cagnoni based on the drawings of Giuseppe De Lama, engraved head-and-tail-pieces (occasional spotting and a light dampstain at the front endpapers).
