Large painted majolica vase. Pescara, 1923. Baluster body with four spouts, enlarged base, flared and molded edge. Floral and geometric decoration in yellow, black and green with four female figures holding flowers. Signed "B. CASCELLA" and dated at the foot. (h 46 cm.) (defects and restorations) Provenance Private collection, Milan The vase is part of the first ceramic production of the artist, characterized by hand-painted decorations with female figures and decorations inspired by international modernism, attributable to the Pre-Raphaelite artistic culture of the period.
