Dioscorides Neapolitanus Ms. ex Vindob. gr. 1. Graz: Akademische Druck Verlagsanstalt (ADEVA), 1988.   A reproduction of the codex Neapolitanus, one of the most ancient codexes of Dioscorides, which was created at the beginning of the 7th century by Byzantine workers. The manuscript is illustrated with over 400 miniatures and written in biblical capital letters for ease of reading. Discovered in the early 18th century in the Augustinian monastery of San Giovanni a Carbonara in Naples, it was brought by the Habsburgs to Vienna and returned to Italy in 1919 with peace agreements.   (295 x 250mm).
