[Rome: Litografia delle Belle Arti, tavole datate 1830-32].   A work by Pinelli difficult to find on the market showing a series of illustrations dedicated to the Promessi Sposi, but inspired from the artist's Romanesque iconographic repertoire.   Oblong folio (442 x 568mm). 20 lithographic plates signed and dated on the plate, captions from Manzoni's celebrated work accompanying each episode (margins frayed with small tears, foxing and staining mainly in the margins). Modern half leather (minor rubbing).
