Title pages with engraved vignette depicting the coat of arms of the city of Parma, in the first volume portrait of the author on paper π1 and chalcographic headpiece on paper * 1r with portrait of the dedicatee Ferdinando I di Borbone, engraved by Francesco Rosaspina, woodcut headpieces (occasional light foxing, slight dampstaining to lower edge of the first volume). Contemporary calf marbled in green, decorated in gilt on the covers, with red edges and marbled endpapers (some wear to extremities and some scuffing). Provenance: C.C.
