[HIROITO - ALBUM AMICORUM] - Album amicorum con 66 autografi di regnanti, politici e personalità, tra cui l'imperatore Hiroito, realizzati in Kleksografia. Italy: Luglio 1919 - Giugno 1924.   An important and interesting album amicorum realized with Kleksography technique by folding in half the signatures while still damp to create symmetrical ink blots, similar to the one used for the Rorschach test. Among the personalities represented there is the signature of Emperor Hiroito, who visited Italy accompanied by his uncle, Prince Kanin Kotohito, during the 6-month state visit to Europe before assuming the regency of Japan in November 1921. The album contains also a series of signatures collected in Rijeka in August 1920, at the height of the Italian Regency of Carnaro; the autographs of Gabriele D'Annunzio, Sante Ceccherini, Viganò, commander of the destroyer Espero and other legionaries and military heroes. The collection comprehends perosanlities from the Italian Royal Family, represented almost in its entirety, and the ministers of the first Mussolini government including Costanzo Ciano, Armando Diaz and Giovanni Gentile.   (170 x 120mm). 66 autographs in kleksography (light marginal dampstaining). Contemporary boards (without spine and first plate detached, some loose pages).
