Mackinlay, 1811.   A fine red morocco copy of this critical edition of Euripides, containing The Suppliant Women, Iphigenia in Aulis, and Iphigenia among the Taurians, edited by the philologist Jeremiah Markland.   2 parts in one volume, 4to (260 x 210mm). (Some minor staining and foxing). Contemporary red morocco, with the arms of The Trustees of the Rugby Charity founded by Lawrence Sheriff on front cover and of Josephus Hamilton on rear cover, gilt titles and gilt and blind-stamped decorations on spine, covers, and inner dentelles; all edges gilt (some wear, especially at joints and extremities). No collation could be found; our copy shows the following pagination: [8], 313, [1]; [8], 216 pages.
