The Important Jewels auction held on 28 and 29 May 2026 brought an intense week of sales to a brilliant close, achieving €3.5 million in sales, an 86% sell-through rate and a 165% increase on starting prices.

   

These results testify to the consistent quality of the offering and the enduring strength and vitality of the collectors’ market.

  

  

Large-carat diamonds, vividly coloured gemstones and the most iconic names in international high jewellery established this sale as one of the most authoritative events on the national market. Leading the auction was a platinum ring set with a 20.52-carat octagonal-cut diamond (lot 607, €189,000), followed by a platinum ring featuring a 7.77-carat octagonal-cut sapphire (lot 614, €132,300) and a platinum serpent-form necklace set with approximately 40.00 carats of diamonds (lot 615, €119,700).

Several rings distinguished by their refined compositional balance also achieved outstanding results, including a toi et moi ring set with two pear-shaped diamonds weighing 5.99 and 5.73 carats respectively (lot 599, €88,200), a white and yellow gold ring centred on a 4.00-carat octagonal-cut emerald (lot 610, €81,900), a toi et moi ring featuring a natural grey pearl (lot 598, €69,300), and a ring set with a 4.89-carat round-cut diamond (lot 589, €56,700).

Highlights included Marina B’s “Carlotta” rigid choker necklace (lot 549, €50,400), Mario Buccellati’s chiselled white and yellow gold bangle set with a green tourmaline and diamonds (lot 601, €47,880), and Bulgari’s serpent bracelet in yellow gold and black enamel with pear-shaped diamond eyes (lot 612, €47,880).
