On June 23, 2026, Il Ponte Auction House will present an auction dedicated to fine and collectible wines, marking a new chapter for the department under the guidance of the French specialists of the Millon Auction Group, whose expertise is firmly established within the French wine auction market.

France and Italy represent two outstanding regions in the world of wine; territories that, despite their differences, share an extraordinary winemaking heritage, historic appellations, and a deep-rooted culture of terroir capable of transforming every bottle into an authentic expression of its place of origin.

Comprising more than 350 lots, the catalogue is aimed at collectors, enthusiasts, and investors alike, bringing together rare bottles, impeccable provenances, and benchmark vintages that tell the story of wine not only as a tasting experience, but also as a genuine cultural heritage. Among the most significant collections is a group of Italian wines from the 1960s, 1970s, and 1980s, meticulously preserved by a collector from Lake Maggiore. The selection includes numerous historic labels, with a particular focus on Barolo, including Rinaldi's 1975 vintage (Lot 93, €200–250), a remarkable number of Barbaresco wines, among them six bottles of “Rabajà” 1988 (Lot 29, €350–450), alongside an extensive selection of Amarone.
