A nineteenth century steeped in rediscovery..

This is confirmed by the auction on June 24th, which closed with over 520,000 euros in sale and a 197% increase on starting prices.

Between ethnographic documentation and poetic transfiguration, "Ballu tundu" by Giuseppe Biasi reached €64,000, setting a record for the artist and immortalizing a fragment of the most authentic Sardinia with rare intensity, amidst vibrant colors and bold contrasts that seem to look towards Fauve suggestions.
