Dreamlike Jewels
Enchantment at Auction

Auction Results | Press Release | Published on 03/06/2025

With €4 million in sales, a 90% sell-through rate, and a 132% increase on starting prices, the Important Jewellery Auction once again confirmed the department’s excellence and reliability.

This outstanding result on the national scene was made possible by a rigorously curated selection, combining refined taste and expertise, where each piece told its own story, spanning high jewellery, museum-worthy rarities, and captivating collector’s items.

Capturing the audience’s attention was the extraordinary collection of 200 lots from the historic Pasqui Jewellery House of Genoa, with all proceeds donated to charity. A precious legacy spanning 150 years of Italian and French goldsmithing, the collection was dedicated to the memory of Gianni Pasqui, son of the founders, a refined innovator and passionate guardian of a tradition that evolved without ever losing its identity. A standout was the spectacular brooch by Robert Schwan for Bolin, set with a cabochon emerald of over 17 carats and old mine-cut diamonds, once belonging to Grand Duchess Maria Alexandrovna, daughter of Tsar Alexander II of Russia (lot 1106, sold € 85,680). The piece captivated bidders for both its history and the harmonious balance of its design.

Significant results were also recorded in the diamond segment, despite the current market downturn. Antique-cut and high-carat stones in particular retained their appeal. The 12.55-carat old-cut diamond (lot 1089, sold € 100,800) and the 4.30-carat round diamond (lot 1082, sold € 69,300) confirmed continued interest in timelessly pure and elegant gems. Also notable was the tennis necklace featuring over 35 carats of diamonds, centred by a stone of over 4 carats (lot 1087, sold € 69,300), a piece appreciated by discerning clients.
